Arsenal have reached an agreement with Myles Lewis-Skelly over a contract extension, tying down one of their brightest young talents.
The 18-year-old defender has been negotiating with the club in recent months, with his current contract set to run until 2026.
While the deal is yet to be officially signed, both parties have agreed on the framework of a new, longer-term commitment, according to the BBC.
Lewis-Skelly enjoyed a breakout year during the last campaign, racking up 39 appearances across all competitions.
Although he was developed as a midfielder within Arsenal’s academy setup, he was deployed primarily at left-back during the season by Mikel Arteta.
His performances didn’t go unnoticed. He made his senior debut in September against Manchester City and continued to impress throughout the year, ultimately earning his first call-up to the senior England squad in March.

The teenager made history by becoming the youngest ever player to score on their full debut for England, netting in a 2-0 victory over Albania at Wembley.
Before stepping up to the senior team, Lewis-Skelly had represented England at every youth level from Under-16 through to Under-19.
His performances culminated in a nomination for the PFA Young Player of the Year award earlier this week.
He has also drawn interest from Real Madrid, but this is likely to cool with the defender now set to stay beyond 2026.
