Getafe coach Jose Bordelas believes Carlo Ancelotti is the βbest coach for Real Madrid at this momentβ.
Ancelotti takes his side to the Coliseum tomorrow night under pressure with Madrid four points adrift of La Liga leaders Barcelona – it could be seven by kick-off – and out of the Champions League following their two-legged defeat to Arsenal in the quarter-finals.
Reports over the weekend suggested informal talks with Xabi Alonso had already started with Bayer Leverkusen willing to let him leave as part of a gentlemanβs agreement with the Spaniard.

I have great respect for Carlo – Bordelas
Ancelotti admitted even winning the league and Copa del Rey, in which they meet Barca in Saturdayβs final, may not be enough to keep him in a job but Bordelas remains a fan of the experienced Italian.
Speaking today, he said: βI have great respect for Carlo, I admire him as I do all coaches.
βI am not the person who should assess whether he should be questioned or not. Heβs still in two competitions and heβs won practically all of them previously.
βThere is no debate about Carlo, he is the best coach for Real Madrid at this moment.β

Never a good time to face Madrid
Bordelas dismissed suggestions it was a good time to face Madrid with the game coming just three days before the Copa final.
βThere is never a good time to play Real Madrid,β he added. βThey are one of the best teams in the world and still fighting for two trophies.
βWe know the difficulties. The differences are huge in every aspect and itβs going to be very difficult.
βI donβt think theyβll be thinking about the Copa. They are still alive in La Liga and they have to win their games to get closer to Barcelona.β
Bordelas confident of piling pressure on Ancelotti
Getafe have slipped to within seven points of the relegation zone although they are still far enough away not to have any serious concerns about going down.
Their home form has been particularly disappointing with just four wins from their 16 league games.
βWe would have liked better results at home,β admitted Bordelas. βBut, somehow, we have not got the results we expected.
βIt is important tomorrow that we have maximum concentration and donβt make any mistakes. Any sloppiness in defence can cost you a goal.
βWe have trained well and the team is confident, eager and excited. We trust that the team can do it.β
