Scotland face a side led by a familiar face.

Scotland v Curacao: Confirmed line-ups for pre-World Cup friendly

Scotland will look to head to North America on a high as they play their final game at Hampden Park before jetting off for the 2026 World Cup against Dick Advocaat’s Curacao.

Having guided Scotland to a first World Cup since 1998, head coach Steve Clarke signed a contract extension this week, keeping him in charge until 2030.

He will hope to celebrate that with a win against a Curacao side set to make an historic debut at the World Cup.

Curacao are the smallest nation to qualify for a World Cup, and will be led by Advocaat, who won five trophies as Rangers manager from 1998 to 2001.

Advocaat had quit his post to take care of his daughter as she battled illness, only to return this month with her health having improved.

Curacao will hope to prove they are not just at the World Cup to make up the numbers, and a positive result against Scotland would go some way to proving that point.
