England manager Thomas Tuchel has recalled striker Ivan Toney to his squad for June’s games against Andorra and Senegal.

Toney, 29, left Brentford last summer to join Saudi side Al-Ahli and has scored 22 goals in 29 games.

“We have followed him closely, like all the players on our list,” said Tuchel.

“He has played a lot with massive contributions and decisive goals, he has won the Asian Champions League. We want to see his personality in the group and his quality.”

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is included despite his ongoing shoulder problem, while Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy did not make the cut.

Dan Burn and Jordan Henderson, surprise call-ups back in March, are still in while Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has a first call-up.

Tuchel’s Three Lions face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier on 7 June and play Senegal in a friendly at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground three days later.
