Borussia Dortmund staged a second-half comeback to defeat Lille 2-1 on the night and secure a 3-2 aggregate victory, booking their place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The French side, seeking their first-ever quarter-final appearance, defended well in the first half, with goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier making several key saves to preserve their advantage.
Dortmund pushed forward relentlessly, generating an xG of 2.84 to Lilleβs 1.48. Their pressure paid off in the 54th minute when Emre Can converted a penalty after Serhou Guirassy was adjudged to have been fouled by Thomas Meunier.
Despite minimal contact, the decision stood, and Dortmund had their equaliser.
The Bundesliga side continued to press, and their persistence was rewarded in the 65th minute.
