Arsenal secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals with a 2-2 draw against PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates, earning a dominant 9-3 aggregate victory.

Despite the first-leg hammering, the Dutch side restored some pride with a spirited performance in North London.

The Gunners struck early, opening the scoring in the sixth minute through Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Ukrainian, who began his Champions League journey with PSV, received a pass from Raheem Sterling before cutting inside and curling a precise shot into the bottom left corner.

Out of respect for his former club, he raised his hands in apology, but his goal pushed Arsenal further ahead on aggregate.

PSV responded admirably and found their equaliser in the 18th minute. After a period of sustained pressure, Guus Til slipped Ivan Perisic through in the box, and the Croatian veteran produced a superb finish, lifting the ball into the top-right corner beyond David Raya’s reach.

Before the break, Arsenal restored their lead with a well-worked goal. Sterling turned provider once again, delivering a pinpoint cross for Declan Rice, who powered a header past Walter Benitez to make it 2-1.

The second half saw PSV eager to make their final European outing of the season count. They found a deserved equaliser in the 70th minute when Isaac Babadi threaded a delightful ball to Couhaib Driouech. The winger latched onto it and produced a delicate lob over the onrushing Raya to level the match at 2-2.

Both sides had further chances, but Arsenal saw the game out comfortably.

PSV’s traveling supporters made the most of their final Champions League night, while Arsenal now look ahead to a quarter-final clash against Real Madrid.
