Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany was reportedly rushed to hospital after collapsing at the club’s training ground on Friday.
The former Manchester City and Belgium defender’s condition is stable, according to a report from Sky Sport Germany.
An ambulance transported Kompany to hospital from Sabener Strasse, where a helicopter was reported to have landed in response to the incident.
Bayern have yet to officially comment on the situation.
Kompany has been dealing with a viral infection that has forced him to miss several training sessions.
The 40-year-old was in the dugout for Bayern’s 6-1 Bundesliga win over RB Leipzig last weekend but did not take part in any media commitments.
Kompany was also present for Bayern’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday despite his illness.
Bayern, who lead the Bundesliga on goal difference from Borussia Dortmund, visit third-placed Freiburg on Sunday.
