Arsenal vs Molde: Recommended bets
Both teams to score. Arsenal have conceded in three of their four matches at the Emirates this season, while Molde have found the back of the net in four of their last five away games.
Eddie Nketiah to score. Nketiah did not start at the weekend and is expected to return to the starting eleven. Nketiah has three Arsenal goals this season, including one in last week’s win against Dundalk.

Arsenal vs Molde: Match preview
Arsenal host Norwegian side Molde at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.
Mikel Arteta masterminded a monumental 1-0 win at Old Trafford on Sunday, a result which leaves Arsenal 9th in the Premier League, one point off of the top four. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot.
The win was Arsenal’s first in the league at Old Trafford since 2006, and also ended their 29-game winless run at top-six sides in the Premier League.
The Gunners are first in Europa League Group B having won both their opening matches. Last week Arsenal beat Irish side Dundalk 3-0 at the Emirates. All three Arsenal goals came within four playing minutes either side of half-time.
Molde have also won their two matches, but are second due to an inferior goal difference to Arsenal. Ohi Omoijuanfo scored the only goal of the game in last Thursday’s 1-0 win at home to Rapid Vienna.
Molde won 3-1 at Mjondalen at the weekend, with goals from Martin Ellingsen (2) and Leke James. The result leaves Molde 2nd in the Eliteserien after 23 matches.
Having won their opening two group matches, Molde look good value to reach the round of 32 for the first time since 2015-16.
After finishing 2nd in the Norwegian Eliteserien last season, Molde entered the first qualifying round of the Champions League. Molde won three ties to reach the playoff round, where they eventually lost on away goals to Ferencvaros and dropped down to the Europa League group stage.
Thursday’s game will be the first meeting in UEFA competition between the two sides. In fact, it’ll be Molde’s first match against English opposition.
Arsenal have faced Norwegian opposition four times previously in UEFA competition, winning three and drawing one. Although a friendly, Arsenal beat Norwegian side Viking 8-0 in pre-season in 2016. Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Mohamed Elneny are the only players to have played in that match who are still at the club.
Arsenal team news vs Molde
Mikel Arteta raised a number of eyebrows with his team selection on Sunday, although he clearly got it spot on.
Nicolas Pepe, Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos were all unused substitutes against Man United and could come into the side. Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey put in a mammoth shift in midfield and will surely make way.
Runar Runarsson will likely replace Bernd Leno in goal, as he did last week against Dundalk.
Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock were left out of Sunday’s matchday squad and should return to the starting eleven. There could also be another opportunity for Folarin Balogun who made his first-team debut against Dundalk.
Arteta revealed that Rob Holding only had one training session before the match at Old Trafford, so he’s likely to be rested on Thursday.
The likes of Kieran Tierney, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Hector Bellerin are also set for a rest.
David Luiz could miss out again with a hamstring injury, while fellow centre-back Pablo Mari is a long-term absentee.
Gabriel Martinelli and Callum Chambers have returned to training, although they’re not yet ready to make their comebacks.
Mesut Ozil, William Saliba and Sokratis Papastathopoulos have been left out of Arsenal’s Europa League squad.
Molde team news vs Arsenal
Nigerian forward Leke James is the side’s leading scorer this season, but had to settle for a spot on the bench against Rapid.
Molde are without right-back Kristoffer Haraldseid who has a long-term knee injury.
Manchester United academy graduate Magnus Eikrem will captain the side. Eikrem failed to make a senior appearance for the Red Devils, but did have a brief spell with Cardiff City in 2014.
