Dynamo Kyiv v Crystal Palace: Line-ups, stats and preview

Preview for Dynamo Kyiv v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace open their Conference League campaign in Poland tomorrow night, looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to a 19th game.

Palace continue to impress with Saturday’s 2-1 defeat of Liverpool in the Premier League another example of the progress made under the shrewd management of Oliver Glasner.

Eddie Nketiah grabbed a last-gasp goal to see off the defending champions and move Palace up to third in the table.

As is always the case, Palace’s upward trajectory has not gone unnoticed and rumours have already started circulating around their Austrian boss with Manchester United touted as a potential destination for Glasner.

A deep run in the Conference League will only enhance his reputation and there is no reason why Palace should not feel that is a distinct possibility given their form and the strength of a squad that has overcome some recent injury issues.

Dynamo could be forgiven for having more important matters on their minds given the war that still rages in their homeland.

They have not won in their last three domestic league games, including the 3-3 weekend draw at Karpaty Lviv.
