Bet of the Day: Goals at Old Trafford and Arsenal to bounce back

Putting Manchester United in any bet is a risky move at the minute as you never know what you’re going to get.

Even Ruben Amorim has cut a frustrated figure as his team has lurched from looking half-decent to absolutely woeful over the past few weeks.

They face Ipswich at Old Trafford tonight in what appears the perfect chance to record a straightforward win against a team that has spent much of the season fighting relegation.

And yet nothing is straightforward for United.

They rode their luck at the end but just about deserved their battling draw at Everton on Saturday and we think they will continue that improvement tonight.

That’s not to say it will be plain sailing and Ipswich have only failed to score in two of their last eight league games.

It looks like there my be a few goals tonight so BTTS looks a decent shout.

Arsenal to bounce back at wobbling Forest

Another team in need of a morale-boosting performance is Arsenal.

The Gunners’ title challenge took a massive hit at the weekend after a 1-0 defeat at home to West Ham but it’s rare good sides lose two in a row.

And with Forest looking a little shaky in recent weeks – Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have lost three of their last four in the league, conceding 11 goals in the process – we fancy Mikel Arteta’s men to get back on track at the City Ground.
