LIVE – Juventus 2-0 Manchester City: Old Lady two to the good

Manchester City take on Juventus tonight with both sides in need of a win to boost their chances of automatic qualification for the Champions League round of 16.

City arrive in Turin in 20th place in the 36-team league, two places higher than Juve with both teams having gained eight points from their first five matches.

Pep Guardiola has stabilised his team’s form following their five-game losing streak in all competitions but they didn’t look entirely convincing in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace.

Juve have drawn their last four games with new coach Thiago Motta struggling to impose his style on the Bianconeri.
