Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez has, on Saturday, confirmed that the Blaugrana have joined the list of clubs keen on the signature of Palmeiras’ Endrick.
The name of Brazilian sensation Endrick has of course long taken its name front and centre in the headlines across Europe.
This comes with the attacker, despite being just 16 years of age, having piqued the attentions of a number of the continent’s biggest clubs.
To this point, it is Spanish and European champions Real Madrid who have been most widely tipped to actually land Endrick.
Los Blancos, of course, have a stellar recent track record when it comes to developing young Brazilian talents, as evidenced by the ever-increasing influence of Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.
Also very much in the hunt, though, are both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Endrick’s current preference is to join #Chelsea as he would like to play in the Premier League when he does leave Palmeiras in the future.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest comments stemming from the media late on Saturday are anything to go by, then yet another of Europe’s elite now appear to have positioned themselves firmly in the race for one of world football’s brightest talents, too.
The outfit in question? Barcelona.
Speaking to the media earlier today, Xavi Hernandez was drawn on Enrick’s talents, and whether Barca are interested in his services.
And the Blaugrana’s boss was not at all shy in confirming as much, revealing his ‘hope’ that the Brazilian ends up in Catalunya, as well as providing an insight into preliminary discussions between the Camp Nou powers that be, and Endrick’s father:
Barça manager Xavi on Endrick: “We’ve been talking with Endrick’s father and also with the player. I explained them the project. We want him, he’s a top talent”, tells ESPN.
