Liverpool have set a club record after they dispatched Portuguese giants Benfica on Tuesday evening.
The two European powerhouses clashed at the Estadio da Luz in the first of two Champions League quarter-final ties.
It was the away outfit who were clear favourites ahead of the game and, when all was said and done in Lisbon, it was indeed Liverpool who came out on top.
Ibrahima Konate opened the scoring for the Reds 17 minutes in, heading home from an Andy Robertson corner:

Liverpool make history
As per Opta, after picking up the win vs Benfica, Jurgen Klopp’s side have now won eight away games on the bounce in all competitions.
This is the first time they have achieved this feat in the history of the club:
