Bruno Fernandes has spared Manchester United’s blushes heading into half-time against Ipswich.
The Red Devils found themselves 1-0 down inside the opening 30 minutes thanks to a goal from Leif Davis, with the Tractor Boys being the better team at Old Trafford.
However, a mistake from Marcelino Nunez gifted the hosts a break, with Matheus Cunha sliding captain Fernandes in, who made no mistake with the finish.
It remains 1-1 heading into the second half, but Michael Carrick’s side will undoubtedly be boosted by their equaliser.
The aim now is to kick on and grab all three points after a disappointing loss to Hull last week.
