Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Mason Greenwood from Marseille on a four-year contract.
Greenwood moved to the Stade Velodrome in 2024 from Manchester United and has enjoyed two hugely successful years in the south of France.
He scored 22 goals and added six assists in his first season – helping OM qualify for the Champions League via a second-placed finish in Ligue 1 – and backed that up with another 26 goals and 11 assists in the 2025/26 campaign.
The Super Lig giants have paid Marseille €39million (£33m) for the 24-year-old with around £10.5m of the fee going to Greenwood’s former club Manchester United.
Greenwood said: “I am very excited. It was a long process, a long journey, but I’m happy that the deal was completed. A lot of effort has been made to reach this decision today. It wasn’t hard to decide, I kept my promise and I want to show what I can do.
“The fans are really crazy. They sent messages to me, my family and friends. We felt their presence too much. This is the biggest club in Turkey. I can’t wait to join the team, play in the stadium and meet the fans. It was never difficult to decide when they were interested in me. I want to go to Fenerbahçe and show what I can do.”
Greenwood was given the chance to resurrect his career in the south of France after his spell at United was abruptly ended when he was charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm after videos surfaced on social media.
The charges were later dropped after new material came to light.
