Manchester City take on Southampton at Wembley for a place in the FA Cup final.

City are seasoned regulars of this stage of the competition, making their eighth consecutive appearance in the FA Cup last four.

Southampton, meanwhile, are playing in their first FA Cup semi-final in five years, but go into the game on a 20-match unbeaten run having dispatched City’s Premier League title rivals Arsenal in the last round.

The Saint are fourth in the Championship, with top-flight aspirations still very much alive.

Pep Guardiola’s men will be buoyed after a narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley in midweek saw them leapfrog the Gunners into top-spot with five league matches remaining.

Guardiola’s men begin the day as firm favourites, but the City boss says he is anticipating a “fantastic day” against their in-form opponents.
