Al-Wasl 0-4 Al Nassr: Report, result and goals as Ronaldo takes another step towards 1000 goal mark

Al Nassr produced a dominant display to secure a comfortable 4-0 win over Al Wasl, with Cristiano Ronaldo setting the tone before a ruthless first-half spell effectively settled the contest.

The visitors took control early and rarely looked back. Ronaldo opened the scoring after 11 minutes, finishing from close range after being picked out inside the box.

From there, Al Nassr tightened their grip. Joao Felix was central to much of their attacking play, and his delivery from set-pieces proved particularly effective. Two goals in quick succession midway through the half put the result beyond doubt.

First, Inigo Martínez turned in a close-range header from a Felix corner to double the lead. Moments later, another delivery caused problems, and Abdulelah Al Amri rose highest to nod home a third.

Despite a few attempts to respond, including efforts from Brahian Palacios and Pedro Malheiro, the hosts were unable to seriously test Bento in the Al Nassr goal.

Ronaldo went close to adding another, forcing a save and sending another effort narrowly off target, before eventually being substituted just past the hour mark.

The hosts did show brief moments of intent, with Palacios testing Bento from distance, but clear chances remained limited.

Al Nassr added a fourth goal 10 minutes from time to cap off their performance. Sadio Mane latched onto a through ball and finished from a tight angle.
