Grimsby vs Brentford team news: Confirmed line-ups as League Two side chase another upset after knocking out Manchester United

Brentford will look to avoid suffering the same fate as fellow Premier League side Manchester United when they head to Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

The League Two side stunned the Red Devils by knocking them out on penalties in August and will look to claim another scalp at Blundell Park and continue their impressive cup run.

The Bees come into the cup clash on a high, however, having beaten champions Liverpool 3-2 over the weekend with the West Londoners beginning to surge up the table under Keith Andrews. Their win in the third round also came via a penalty shoot-out, beating Aston Villa after a 1-1 draw.

Grimbsy confirmed line-up

Grimsby have made three changes from the team who lost 3-2 to Crewe at the weekend, with a new face coming into each area of the pitch.

At the back, Samuel Lavelle starts over Tyrell Warren, while Evan Khouri comes into midfield for Justin Amaluzor, who is not invovled tonight. At the top end of the pitch, Darragh Burns replaces Jamie Walker.

Brentford confirmed line-up

Brentford have made nine changes from the side that beat Liverpool on Saturday evening, with defender Sepp van den Berg and winger Dango Ouattara the only survivors.

Reiss Nelson makes his first start for the Bees since his loan move from Arsenal, joining Ouattara, Fabio Carvalho and Keane Lewis-Potter in the attacking positions.
