Oviedo 1-3 Barcelona: Report, result, goals as Lewandowski helps Barca earn comeback win after Joan Garcia howler

Robert Lewandowski scored five minutes after his introduction as Barcelona came from behind to earn a fourth consecutive win in all competitions with victory at Oviedo in LaLiga.

Barca’s top scorer last season met fellow substitute Frenkie de Jong’s cross with 20 minutes remaining, turning the scoreline around via the crossbar after the hosts took the lead when Alberto Reina capitalised on a mistake by goalkeeper Joan Garcia to strike from an outlandish distance in the 33rd minute.

Raphinha struck a post from outside the box shortly before the opening goal and Eric Garcia pounced from close range to equalise 11 minutes after the break.

Ronald Araujo headed Barca’s third in the 88th minute courtesy of a cross from Marcus Rashford, who started.

Barcelona are next in action on Sunday (17:30 BST / 12:30 ET / 09:30 PT) at home to Real Sociedad, who earned their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory at home to Mallorca on Wednesday.

Oviedo visit midtable Valencia on Monday (20:00 BST / 15:00 ET / 12:00 PT).
