It's day two at Wimbledon 2025 and there are plenty of big-hitters in action. We've identified three matches to keep an eye on...
Day one of Wimbledon threw up its usual amount of surprises and there could be more of the same on what promises to be another hot day at SW19.
Our opening-day picks brought success – expect Taylor Fritz to get the job done today against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard – and we expect more of the same on Tuesday!
As is tradition, ladies champion Barbora Krejcikova opens proceedings on Centre Court with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner also in action.
Here, we identify three matches to keep an eye on today.

17 Barbora Krejcikova (Cze) v Alexandra Eala (Phi)
The reigning champion has struggled for form and fitness in recent weeks, pulling out of Eastbourne with a thigh injury.
The lush, sometimes slippy, courts in the early days at Wimbledon won’t be to her liking, neither will the draw that pit her against rising star Eala.
The 20-year-old suffered a heartbreaking third-set tie-break loss in the final at Eastbourne, although it remains to be seen now much that took out of her.
Prediction: Krejcikova in three sets
Dayana Yastremska (Ukr) v 2 Coco Gauff (USA)
Gauff is coming off her first French Open triumph but won’t find it an easy opener against Yastremska.
The Ukrainian gives the ball a rip although that can often lead to inconsistency.
She proved, however, by reaching the final on grass at Nottingham that she can test the best and this is not the straightforward opener Gauff would have chosen.
The American will likely have enough to squeeze through but it may go all the way.
Prediction: Gauff in three sets
10 Ben Shelton (USA) v Alex Bolt (Australian)
Shelton continues to fly under the radar and is priced at 80/1 with some bookmakers to win the event. But the American is a regularly strong performer in grand slams with two semi-final appearances under his belt already.
Add in a monster serve and he could be one to watch at The Championships this year.
He should get off to a smooth start against Bolt who has won just one match in three appearances at Wimbledon.
Prediction: Shelton in straight sets
