Women’s World Cup 2023: Group H betting odds & predictions

TeamTop the groupReach last 16Eliminated in this group
Germany 1/20 1/50 16/1
Korea Republic 20/1 10/11 4/5
Colombia 12/1 4/6 11/10
Morocco 150/1 40/1 1/200

To say Germany are favourites to top Group H would be a massive understatement, given that the 2003 and 2007 World Champions are amongst the front-runners to add a third star to their crest.

Martina Voss-Tecklenburg’s team reached the final of last summer’s European Championships, but were unable to win that tournament for a record-extending ninth time, beaten 2-1 by England at Wembley.

Nevertheless, Germany are, by far, Europe’s most successful team and it would surprise no one if they added to their bulging trophy collection on 20 August.

Below them, second spot is very much up for grabs, with none of the trio obvious favourites to join them in the round of 16.

The odds suggest Colombia are going to finish second, but las Cafeteras have only ever won one of seven World Cup fixtures to date, beaten France in 2015 before failing to qualify for the most-recent edition.

Their opener against Korea Republic in Sydney is likely to be key, with the Taegeuk Ladies looking to add to their sole World Cup victory, this coming against Spain eight years ago.

Lastly, Morocco are one of eight nations making their World Cup debut, having reached last summer’s WAFCON Final on home soil.

Nevertheless, the Lionesses of Atlas are set to finish rock bottom of this section.

Predicted: 1st: Germany. 2nd: Korea Republic. 3rd: Colombia. 4th: Morocco.
