The final will not start before 11:00 ET on Sunday, July 13, which is 08:00 PT or 16:00 BST in the UK.

The friendlier start time than usual for US viewers is a result of organizers wanting to attract a larger global audience.

All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton said planners hoped to “improve the experience for all involved”, adding that the move had been “designed with players in mind”.

“Our champions [will be] crowned in front of the largest possible worldwide audience,” added Bolton.

Sinner vs Alcaraz: Holder’s record at Wimbledon

Five-time Grand Slam champion Alcaraz’s run of wins means he has triumphed at two of the four editions he has appeared at.

Alcaraz has beaten Djokovic in both of the last two finals, winning in five sets in 2023 and straight sets in 2024.

He reached the second round on his debut appearance in 2021 and the fourth round a year later, putting his overall record at 18 wins and two losses.

Alcaraz vs Sinner: World number one on brink

World number one Sinner won his second consecutive Australian Open this year and was the US Open champion in 2024.

As he seeks a fourth major title, the Italian will hope to go one better than he did at this year’s French Open, in which Alcaraz edged past him via a fifth-set tie-break.

The 23-year-old is in the final for the first time on his fourth appearance in the main draw, having reached the first round in 2021, the quarter-finals in 2022 and 2024 and the semi-finals in 2023.
