Tottenham have moved one step closer to completing a deal for Brighton and Hove Albion star Yves Bissouma, with the Malian having completed his medical with the Lilywhites ahead of joining the club.

The midfielder is set to become Antonio Conte's third signing of the summer, following the additions of Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic on free transfers from Southampton and Inter Milan respectively earlier in the month.

Now, it appears that they are set to splash out around 29m euros along with add-ons, according to Fabrizio Romano, with Bissouma set to sign a 4-year deal.

Meanwhile, The Athletic report that the transfer will set Spurs back £25m, potentially rising to over £30m with add-ons included.

They report that an official announcement will be made 'in the coming days', before Bissouma joins his new teammates for pre-season at the end of June.

What next for Tottenham?

The business for Tottenham is not expected to stop there, with Antonio Conte thought to want as many as four more signings. They are in the race to sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer, but face competition from Manchester United and Newcastle United for his signature.

Beyond that, the capital club have also been credited with an interest in Everton striker Richarlison, while they are on the hunt for at least one new defender, despite having failed to convince Alessandro Bastoni to make the move to north London this summer.
