The latest social media activity on the part of Brighton & Hove Albion star Yves Bissouma has piqued widespread attentions across the fanbase of Premier League rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

This comes with the Malian international having dropped a fresh hint regarding his interest in linking up with Mikel Arteta's troops.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Bissouma reposted a pair of fan-made images, featuring the following captions:

“For me I think he [Bissouma] and [Youri] Tielemans should be our priority in midfield. We must get Bissouma at all costs Arsenal.”

“I've been following up on Bissouma and I think he's the one to replace Partey long-term. He's just 25.”

This comes after Brighton's midfield standout played a starring role for his country on Saturday, on his way to a pair of assists in a 4-0 AFCON qualifying showdown with Congo.

Tielemans amongst targets

Arsenal, for their part, are of course expected to prioritise the addition of at least one new midfielder this summer, amid something of a dearth of quality options at the disposal of boss Mikel Arteta.

Bissouma, though, is not one of those to have been most hotly tipped to link up with the north London outfit.

Instead, the transfer chiefs at the Emirates are understood to have identified Leicester City star Youri Tielemans as their no. 1 target, ahead of the expiration of the Belgian's contract at the King Power Stadium in a little over 12 months' time.
