Brazil were the headline act on day 15 of the World Cup, demolishing South Korea in the first half and laying down their credentials for a sixth world title with a comprehensive 4-1 win.

Neymar was back to full fitness, Richarlison on good form and the vibrancy and flair of old Brazilian sides was out in full force to re-establish themselves as favourites for the title.

They will face Croatia in the next round, who struggled past Japan in a drab encounter, only advancing thanks to a poor penalty shootout when the pressure seemed too much for the Japan side.

Tuesday sees Spain take on the dangerous Morocco in what could be the tie of the round, while Portugal and Switzerland meet in the evening kick-off in another tough-to-call encounter.

Morocco Vs Spain – 15:00 Tuesday 6th December

Sofyan Amrabat to commit 1 or more fouls

Over 2.5 Morocco corners

Morocco and Spain do battle in the round of 16 with Spain seen as clear favourites but Morocco have looked a very good side so far and topped their group ahead of Belgium and Croatia.

Morocco have plenty of attacking options and Spain proved against Japan that they can be suspect defensively so the likes of Ziyach and Boufal will fancy their chances of causing Spain plenty of problems. Morocco average 3.5 corners earned per match while Spain concede on average 3.4 corners per game so the angle of Morocco picking up a few corners at a decent price looks a solid selection here.

Sofyan Amrabat, Moroccos anchor in midfield is sure to be an important player here and have his hands full with some technically brilliant Spanish midfielders. This season in Serie A he has committed 23 fouls and has averaged 2.53 fouls per game, he has committed at least one foul in 95% of his games. With his important role of breaking up play and the quality Spain have its hard to see him not making at least one foul here.

Portugal Vs Switzerland – 19:00 Tuesday 6th December

Over 2.5 match cards

Manuel Akanji to commit 1 or more fouls

Over 6.5 match corners

Portugal and Switzerland play it out in this round of 16 match in what proved to be an entertaining game. Both sides have been involved in some thrilling matches this season and it’s hard to think we’re not in for another great game here today.

Portugal will be the favourites here but this Switzerland side are by no means an easy team to beat, they have quality throughout the side and were narrowly beaten by Brazil in the group stage by 1 goal.

One thing that does look nailed on is cards, both teams have poor discipline records and have racked up the cards already in this tournament. Both teams average over 2 cards earned per match and Mexican referee César Arturo Ramos has given out on average 4.7 cards per game in his last 159 games.

Manuel Akanji recently signed for Man City averages 1.08 fouls per game this season but taking in to account he’s playing in a City side who absolutely dominate most teams they play you would expect him to be put under more pressure by the attacking players of Portugal here.

In terms of corners and similar to cards both teams have been busy with both corners earned and corners conceded this tournament and just in general. Portugal average 5.5 corners earned per game whilst Switzerland average 4.7 corners earned per game. Over 6 corners have landed in 80% of their games and both teams concede between 4 and 5 corners per game in recent times

World Cup Daily Acca Betting Tip by TipMan

Portugal v Switzerland

Portugal to qualify

Portugal qualified top of group H ahead of South Korea and Uruguay. Switzerland qualified as runners up in Group G behind Brazil. Portugal were also able to rest many key players in their 2-1 defeat to South Korea and will head into this last 16 clash a lot fresher than Switzerland, who beat Serbia 3-2 on Friday to qualify. Portugal are 10/11 favourites here who should have too much quality in their side to throw away a great opportunity to progress to the Quarter Finals of the World Cup and set up a tie with Spain or Morocco.

Real Oviedo v Las Palmas

Over 3.5 Las Palmas Corners

Segunda División leaders Las Palmas travel to Oviedo in the search of 3 points and putting some distance between themselves and the chasing pack for automatic promotion. Oviedo have put together a great run of form to drag themselves out of the relegation zone and sit relatively comfortably. The corner average here is 10.88 with Las Palmas averaging 6.11 corners earned per game. Las Palmas will be pushing for the win here and should equal or better their corner average.

Peterborough United u21s v Aston Villa u21s

Over 2.5 Match Goals

Peterborough u21 host Aston Villa u21 in this Premier League Cup tie. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in 80% of games involving these sides. Both teams have to push for the win here and both average over 2 goals per game conceded. Always plenty of goal action in these Premier League Cup games and over 2.5 goals seems great value here for an acca and the obvious selection.
