Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers have, on Thursday evening, closed a deal for yet another January signing.
The powers that be at Molineux, of course, have been hard at work across the month to date, in an effort to add some much-needed quality to the squad of new boss Julen Lopetegui.
This comes as Wolves aim to recover from a nightmare opening to the campaign, which currently sees them in the thick of the battle against relegation to England’s 2nd tier.
To this point, the Midlands-based outfit have enjoyed an altogether fruitful window, adding no fewer than five new faces, in the form of Matheus Cunha, Mario Lemina, Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson and Daniel Bentley.

And now, as alluded to above, yet another gifted young performer looks all set to follow suit.
The player in question? Joao Gomes.
Fresh off a season which saw him lift both the Copa do Brasil and Copa Libertadores, in turn, the Rio native is long understood to have been attracting admiring glances from across Europe.
It is Wolves, though, who recently jumped firmly to the front of the queue, in agreeing to meet Flamengo’s demands.
As per Brazilian journalist Vene Casagrande, a transfer, in turn, is now viewed as imminent.
After upping their bid to €18.5 million in the face of heavy competition from Olympique Lyonnais, Wolves, tonight, tied Gomes down to a five-year contract.
An official announcement is therefore expected to be forthcoming at some point over the coming 48 hours.
