PSG faced off with Lille on Sunday afternoon, heading into the game looking to bounce back from two defeats in a row.
PSG lost to AS Monaco in Ligue 1 last weekend before then suffering a 1-0 loss at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Vs Lille, meanwhile, the French champions notched a comfortable 2-0 lead after just 17 minutes on Sunday.
However, Neymar picked up a serious injury and Jonathan David and Bafode Diakite put Lille back on level terms after 57 minutes.
Jonathan Bamba then made it 3-2 to Lille in the 69th minute and looked set to hand his side a huge away win.
However, Mbappe added a second goal with three minutes of normal time to play to bring the game level.
Lionel Messi then stepped up after 95 minutes to net a stunning free-kick and hand his side a big three points.
After scoring the winner on Sunday, Messi earned his side two days off from training, granted by manager, Christophe Galtier.
As a result, Messi has taken the opportunity to jet back to Barcelona, where he spent the majority of his life before training resumes on Wednesday.
