Ahead of the game, the Red Devils would release their matchday squad an hour before kick-off.

Ralf Rangnick had made a number of changes for the clash which saw all of Jadon Sancho, Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford drop out of the XI:

Manchester will face Watford on Saturday at 3 pm UK time.

Manchester United head into the latest gameweek sat 4th in the Premier League, but are well aware that Arsenal can catch them if they win their games in hand.

The Red Devils also have some fierce competition from Tottenham, who bounced back from their loss to Burnley in midweek by beating Leeds United 4-0 in Saturday's early kick-off.

Watford, meanwhile, are down in 19th place with three sides above them having played at least one fewer game – a grim outlook for the Hornets.
