An explanation for the absence of Harry Maguire from Manchester United’s squad to take on Tottenham Hotspur has come to the fore late on Thursday.
Erik ten Hag’s troops, of course, are set to return to action in short order.
Fresh off booking their spot in the finale of the FA Cup at the expense of Brighton & Hove Albion, the Red Devils have turned their attentions back towards matters in the Premier League, making the trip to north London for a meeting with the aforementioned Tottenham.
Ahead of proceedings getting underway in just shy of an hour’s time, United, in turn, made the club’s latest starting XI public a short time ago.
Bruno Fernandes, a major doubt for the clash, has afforded the evening’s visitors a boost, in taking his place in boss Ten Hag’s midfield.
Marcus Rashford, meanwhile, is also in from the off:
