Jesus has had a superb start to the 2022/23 season at new club, Arsenal.

The Brazilian was always a squad player under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, but he has since become Arsenal’s no.9 and has taken to his new role well.

Jesus has scored four goals and provided three assists in his first seven league games for the Gunners.

He is also expected to lead the line for Arsenal when they return to action on October 1 vs north London rivals, Tottenham.

The NLD will be Arsenal’s biggest test of the season so far and it is likely to be a feisty affair.

Following their clash with Tottenham, Arsenal have a Europa League match and will then face Liverpool on October 9 in the Premier League.

The reason being is that Jesus has already picked up four yellow cards in seven league games in 2022/23.

And as Tottenham and Arsenal are bitter rivals, there is a good chance Jesus will be booked again vs Spurs.

If he is, Jesus will have reached the five-card limit and be suspended for one match, which would be against Liverpool.

This would leave Eddi Nketiah to lead the line vs Jurgen Klopp and co. next month.
