An explanation for Alexandre Lacazette being angry with Emile Smith Rowe and Granit Xhaka during Arsenal’s last outing has been provided.
The Gunners would face off with Aston Villa in Saturday’s only Premier League fixture.
Arsenal headed into the game sitting 4th in the Premier League, looking to extend their advantage over the rest of the top-four chasing sides.
And the north Londoners were just about able to do so, earning a 1-0 win over Steven Gerrard’s side thanks to a 30th-minute strike from Bukayo Saka, which also happened to be Arsenal’s 2000th Premier League goal.

Why Lacazette was angry with Smith Rowe & Xhaka
As per football.london, during the clash, Lacazette had the chance to let the ball roll across his body to shoot, with precisely that looking the most likely option.
However, the Frenchman instead opted to hold the ball with his back to Emi Martinez before misplacing a layoff and yelling furiously at both Emile Smith Rowe and Granit Xhaka for not being on the edge of the box to receive the ball.
A minor issue on the day, but something Lacazette will be hoping does not happen again in Arsenal’s next match.
The Gunners’ next outing will come after the international break, when they face Crystal Palace on the 4th of April at 8 pm UK time.
