The prospects of Premier League outfit Arsenal for next season’s Champions League campaign have, on Sunday, been afforded a boost.

This comes owing to AC Milan clinching their own spot in the 2023-24 edition of European football’s premiere competition.

Owing to a hard-fought downing of Juventus in Turin, the Rossoneri, after advancing all the way to the semi-finals of this year’s Champions League, will do battle with the continent’s best once more next time out.

As alluded to above, though, such developments do not only mark good news for those of a Milan persuasion.

In addition, they have afforded a boost to English giants Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners, of course, have too sealed their spot in next season’s Champions League, owing to a fine campaign which ultimately culminated in a 2nd-placed Premier League finish.

The north Londoners were previously in line to take their place in pot 3, meaning potentially being drawn against two European heavyweights.

As much is far less likely, however, with Arteta and co. having now been bumped up to pot 2:
