Who can Chelsea face in the Champions League last-16?

Chelsea’s potential Champions League opponents for the last-16 have been revealed.

Chelsea’s Champions League campaign got off to a nightmare start as they lost 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb.

That result also saw Thomas Tuchel sacked and replaced by Graham Potter.

Potter’s first game at the helm was vs RB Salzburg, who the Blues drew 1-1 with.

After a slow start, though, Chelsea’s form picked up and they completed an impressive double over AC Milan.

They then beat Salzburg and Zagreb 2-1 in the reverse fixtures to round out an impressive run.

Chelsea’s potential last-16 opponents

Chelsea finished top of Group E, meaning they cannot be paired with any other group winners in the last-16.

However, at this stage teams cannot be drawn against sides that were in their group or indeed clubs from the same country, meaning Chelsea will not face Milan or Liverpool.

But some potentially very difficult tests still loom, including PSG.

Chelsea’s possible last-16 opponents: Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge

The Champions League last-16 draw takes place on Monday the 7th of November.
