When was the last time Everton beat Liverpool?

Everton and Liverpool clash in the final Merseyside derby of the season on Monday, February 13.

One of the oldest rivalries in football, Everton and Liverpool have been doing battle since all the way back in 1894.

The first meeting between the pair ended in a 3-0 win for the Toffees in what was then known as League Division One.

Everton have gone on to beat the Reds a further 82 times in all competitions, with 86 results ending in draws and 126 ties being won by Liverpool.

And whilst that is a fairly balanced share of the points, Everton’s dominance over Liverpool largely ended after WWII.

The Toffees have had especially bad luck against their closest rivals in the Premier League era.

In fact, since 1992, Everton have beaten Liverpool just 11 times, with one of those wins coming in the FA Cup.

Before that, though, Everton had failed to win the previous 23 meetings between the pair in all competitions, with their last win also a 2-0 Premier League triumph back in October of 2010.
