‘What a player’ - Real Madrid supporters single one member of Ancelotti’s squad out for special praise after Getafe

Fans of Spanish giants Real Madrid have flooded to social media on Saturday evening, to single one member of the club’s squad out for widespread commendation.

Los Blancos, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

After being leapfrogged by fierce rivals Barcelona to the La Liga summit last weekend, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops made the trip to Getafe, eyeing a return to table-topping status ahead of next Sunday’s latest edition of El Clasico

And, when all was said and done, bag all three points at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Pérez is precisely what Real went on to do.

This came owing to a solitary goal netted by defender Eder Militao, with just three minutes on the clock:

On the back of the action coming to a close on Saturday night, though, it is not match-winner Eder Militao (who was admittedly impressive throughout) who has been singled out for the most widespread praise on the part of the Real faithful.

This honour, instead, has been reserved for midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

Blancos summer addition Tchouameni was afforded his latest starting berth versus Getafe, joined by Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric in a talent-packed midfield three.

And it was the French international who went on to stand head and shoulders above the rest over the course of the 90 minutes, giving rise to quite the post-match love-in across social media:
