Fears continue to persist around the immediate future of West Ham United after the Hammers suffered a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Newcastle United in midweek in another example of how far the London outfit has fallen in the 2022-23 Premier League season. David Moyes’ troops now sit just outside of the relegation zone thanks to goal difference despite being level on 27 points with Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Bournemouth coming into the weekend program.

The one bright spot for Moyes comes by way of just one concern surrounding the senior team; the absence of summer signing Gianluca Scamacca on account of a knee injury. But how the former Everton and Manchester United manager intends to push his side up the table for the remainder of the season is very much unknown.
