West Ham United team news and predicted line-up vs Leicester City

In this piece, we take a look at the latest West Ham United team news ahead of their upcoming Premier League clash with Leicester City

West Ham United FC are set to welcome Leicester City to the London Stadium on Saturday, November 12th, eyeing a much-needed return to winning ways.

After a timely upturn in form guided the Irons away from the Premier League relegation zone last month, David Moyes’ troops have since fallen off the pace once more over the last couple of weeks.

A pair of back-to-back defeats at the hands of Manchester United and Crystal Palace were followed in midweek by a third round exit from the Carabao Cup.

Safe to say, then, that West Ham could do with a timely three-point haul this weekend, at the expense of a much-improved Leicester City outfit.

Just who, though, is expected to be at the disposal of boss David Moyes? And, perhaps even more importantly, who will not?

Below, we take a look at precisely that.

Predicted West Ham line-up vs Leicester

Absentee/doubt list

Emerson Palmieri

The summer arrival in east London was forced into a premature departure from the action on Wednesday night, owing to a heavy collision en route to defeat at the hands of Blackburn Rovers.

Though David Moyes described his decision to haul Emerson off as ‘precautionary’ post-match, his availability for Saturday remains unclear.

Maxwel Cornet

Certain to miss out against Leicester, on the other hand, is Maxwel Cornet.

Cornet has of course endured a difficult debut campaign at the London Stadium to date, owing to a series of fitness problems.

And, after a fresh setback in his recovery efforts picked up in training last month, the former Olympique Lyonnais star remains unavailable for selection.
