West Ham team news and predicted XI vs AEK Larnaca

The Hammers are looking to continue their European dream

West Ham welcome Cyrpiots AEK Larnaca to the London Stadium this Thursday as they look to make it into the last eight of the Europa Conference League to distract from a poor Premier League campaign.

David Moyes’ side head into the tie knowing that they simply have to avoid a 2 goal defeat to head through to the next round, having eased to a 2-0 win over their opponents in the first leg thanks to goals from Michail Antonio.

Having pulled out a credible 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last weekend, the Hammers have no further engagements before the March international break, and will want to go out in style.

We took a look at how we expect the Hammers to line up, and the latest team news for David Moyes’ side.

Predicted XI

Team News

West Ham will be without Łukasz Fabiański for the second leg, with the Polish shot stopper still sidelined with a broken cheekbone.

More worrying, Michail Antonio may also be sidelined as a result of a calf problem, after missing the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at the weekend.

Also absent will be Vladamir Coufal, who is sidelined with a foot injury and is expected to be out until April.

Holding a 2-0 advantage heading into the home leg, Moyes may be tempted to rotate, especially with the issue of relegation continuing to hang over the head of the Irons.
