Footage centering on five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has gone viral across social media late on Saturday.
This comes after the veteran attacker was greeted on the pitch, mid-match, by an adoring fan.
Ronaldo was back in action a short time ago, lining out for Portugal for a remarkable 199th time, in a Euro 2024 qualifying meeting with Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The Al Nassr star ultimately failed to add to his record-setting goalscoring tally, but, as alluded to above, his name nevertheless took its place front and centre amid the action in Lisbon
During the 2nd-half of proceedings at the Estadio da Luz, a member of the home crowd made his way onto the pitch, making a beeline for Ronaldo in the process.
From here, the individual in question proceeded to bow in front of the iconic frontman, hug and lift him, and, finally, showcase his own version of the famed ‘Siuuu’ celebration:

Turning attentions towards the action itself on Saturday night, Portugal, as expected, ultimately made short work of Bosnia.
And it was a former club teammate of Ronaldo’s who stole the show.
En route to an eventual 3-0 result, Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes played a hand in all three goals, laying on Bernardo Silva’s opener, before notching a late brace.
Check out his brilliant headed first, and supremely-finished 2nd, below:
And that will seal the win for Portugal! 🇵🇹
