Manchester United star Anthony Martial has been pictured leaving Manchester United training just minutes after arriving at Carrington after he turned up to training at the wrong time.
The striker started against both Nottingham Forest and Arsenal but has yet to score this season, and is widely expected to be taken out of the starting XI when summer signing Rasmus Hojlund is fully fit, with the Dane making his debut in the 3-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
But that switch could come sooner rather than later, with Martial the latest man to spark injury fears in Manchester.
As per the Daily Mail, βThe Frenchman was pictured arriving at the clubβs Carrington base in his Mercedes G Wagon at 8.55am but then snapped driving back out shortly afterwards at 8.59am.β
However, the Manchester Evening News report that the striker left after βhe was informed training was later in the dayβ in what appears to be a blunder on the Frenchmanβs part.
The Red Devils, currently 12th in the Premier League, play host to high-flying Brighton this Saturday and Martial is expected to be part of the squad.
They could also be without defender Lisandro Martinez, who was not fit enough to play any part in Argentinaβs World Cup qualifying matches over the international break after picking up a foot injury against Arsenal, an absence that could see Harry Maguire restored to the first XI against the Seagulls.
