Watch: Man United legends in heated debate over Ronaldo situation after Chelsea draw
Roy Keane and Gary Neville shared their opposing views on CR7 post-match
A heated exchange erupted in the Sky Sports studio on Saturday evening, on the back of the meeting between Chelsea and Manchester United.
The argument in question, though, did not come owing to the action at Stamford Bridge itself.
Instead, once more, it was the name of Cristiano Ronaldo which took centre stage.
Portuguese icon Ronaldo, of course, played no part in proceedings in west London this evening. This came with the 37-year-old in the midst of a short-term ban from first-team duties at Manchester United, owing to his behaviour in the closing stages of the club’s win over Tottenham Hotspur in midweek.
After refusing to take to the pitch as a late substitute, Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel prior to the full-time whistle, before swiftly departing Old Trafford.
Boss Erik ten Hag, in turn, opted to sanction his attacking star by means of a spell away from his squad.

This came as the trio of Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink became embroiled in a heated debate over Ronaldo’s situation.
All of the veteran’s absence, contribution on the pitch and potential January exit were discussed, with the highlights of the exchange showcased below:
