Watch: Liverpool's Naby Keita bags brilliant injury-time winner for Guinea

Liverpool star Naby Keita has grabbed the headlines on Thursday evening, owing to his latest endeavours on the international front.

Keita led his country back into action a short time ago.

After slipping to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Egypt in their opening Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the weekend, Guinea played host to Malawi, eyeing a swift return to winning ways.

And, when all was said and done at the Stade Général Lansana Conté, get their efforts to book a spot at next year's AFCON back on track is precisely what the evening's hosts managed.

A hard-fought 90 minutes was ultimately decided by a solitary goal, courtesy of the aforementioned Keita.

As proceedings rolled into injury time, and with the scoreline locked at 0-0, Liverpool's midfield star picked up the ball just inside Malawi's half.

From here, Keita drove towards goal, picking out a teammate on the edge of the area before being slipped in, 18 yards from goal.

And the 27-year-old made no mistake with his ensuing finish, rifling an unstoppable effort into the roof of the net, sparking chaotic celebrations amongst Guinea's fans and players alike.
