Watch: Lionel Messi, Neymar & Sergio Ramos all bag brilliant goals to secure silverware for PSG

It didn’t take Cristophe Galtier long to secure his first title in Paris


Highlights of Paris Saint-Germain’s win over Nantes on Sunday evening have come to the fore online.

The Ligue 1 champions marked their return to action a short time ago.

With the first piece of silverware of the French season up for grabs, PSG made the trip to Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, for the Trophee des Champions showpiece.

And, when all was said and done, the capital giants, unsurprisingly, emerged on the right side of a dominant scoreline.

Lionel Messi opened the scoring in Israel, latching onto a defence-splitting pass before rounding Nantes’ Alban Lafont and slotting home with ease:

Then, on the stroke of the interval, it was the turn of Neymar to produce a moment of individual brilliance, bending a sumptuous free-kick home at the near post:

Next on the scoresheet came something of a forgotten man in PSG’s ranks, as Sergio Ramos showcased his penchant for the spectacular with a wonderful piece of improvisation:

And yet, there was still time for the French champions to add a cherry on top of the cake, as Neymar doubled his personal tally for the day by way of the most nonchalant of spot-kicks:

PSG, in turn, went on to lift the Trophee des Champions, a picture perfect start to the reign of Christophe Galtier at the Parc des Princes.
