Watch: Lionel Messi finds the net, but unplayable Kylian Mbappe steals the show with hand in all 5 PSG goals

The star-studded trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were all on target on Sunday evening, as Paris Saint-Germain emerged with a comfortable victory over FC Lorient.

Mauricio Pochettino's troops returned to action a short time ago.

In the midst of a campaign with so little left to play for, the capital giants welcomed the aforementioned Lorient to the Parc des Princes, hopeful of reestablishing their 12-point advantage atop the Ligue 1 table.

And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what PSG managed, in style.

A dominant showing ultimately culminated in the evening's hosts emerging on the right side of a 5-1 scoreline.

For the first time all season, the trio of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe managed to find the net in the same fixture, a surprise statistic when considering the sky-high expectations placed on the shoulders of all three ahead of the campaign getting underway.

Mbappe runs riot

In truth, though, it was one man and one man only who stole the show in the French capital... Kylian Mbappe.

The French international, of course still expected to bring a close to his time in PSG's colours in the summer, played a direct hand in all five of the hosts' goals on Sunday, racking up a brace to go along with a trio of assists.
