Footage of the latest goal haul racked up by French giants Paris Saint-Germain has piqued widespread attentions late on Friday night.

This comes owing to the latest display of excellence on the part of two of the club’s star performers.

The players in question? Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Amid what has proven a solid campaign to date, PSG made the trip to Corsica a short time ago, with hopes of extending their advantage atop the Ligue 1 table at the expense of Ajaccio.

And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what the evening’s visitors went on to do.

The goalscoring was kicked into gear at The Stade François Coty midway through the first-half, upon Lionel Messi slipping Kylian Mbappe through for a typically incisive near post finish:

Then, remarkably, PSG’s dazzling duo were back at it again just minutes later.

Returning to his role as creator in chief, Messi on this occasion picked out Mbappe on the edge of the Ajaccio penalty area, with the latter having made no mistake in rifling home into the near bottom corner:
