Video: Chelsea fans carrying Tuchel cut-out take to streets of Madrid

Footage of a group of supporters of Premier League giants Chelsea making their way through the streets of Madrid has piqued attentions online this evening.

The clip in question of course comes ahead of the showdown between the heavyweights of English and Spanish football in just shy of 24 hours' time.

The contingent of Blues fans to have made the trip to Madrid ahead of the clash, in turn, were evidently keen to make their presence known.

Chants of 'Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea' could be heard in the heart of Spain's capital, with a life-size cut-out of none other than Pensioners boss Thomas Tuchel having also been spotted by The Independent's Miguel Delaney:

Benzema the difference

Turning attentions towards the upcoming Bernabeu clash itself, Chelsea's stars will of course need all the help which they can get on Tuesday night.

This comes with Tuchel's troops currently finding themselves in a two-goal hole on the back of last week's Champions League quarter-final first-leg at Stamford Bridge.

A Karim Benzema clinic ultimately culminated in Real emerging on the right side of a 3-1 scoreline, leaving Chelsea with it all to do amid the club's efforts to retain their crown as European football's best.

Tuesday's visitors, though, will see their chances of an upset boosted by the scrapping of the away goals rule in UEFA competition, which means that even a 2-0 victory in Madrid would be enough to send proceedings to extra-time.
