Wolves agree £47 million Ruben Neves sale

Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed to the big-money sale of a long-time member of the club’s midfield ranks, according to reports.

The player in question? Ruben Neves.

Portuguese international Neves, of course, continued to play a pivotal role at Molineux across the recently-completed campaign.

All told, across Wolves’ 38 league outings, the 26-year-old featured from the off in all but five, notching six goals along the way.

With just a year left on his contract, and little progress having been made towards tying Neves down for the long-term, however, the powers that be at the West Midlands club have evidently come to the conclusion that now is the right time to cash in.

The midfield conductor, in turn, is all set for a move to the Middle East.

‘The Midlands side are eager to conclude a deal swiftly that would see the Portugal international leave England for the Saudi Pro League’, it is added.

Neves, for his part, is now locked in negotiations with the Al Hilal hierarchy, over the terms of a no doubt lucrative contract.

The transfer, as a result, is ‘expected’ to go through, potentially as soon as this coming week.
