Despite the mammoth amount of money spent in the Todd Boehly regime, Chelsea are still struggling to score goals.
The Blues have netted just once in their last four outings in all competitions, with their latest match a 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
So, Chelsea fans will no doubt be hoping to add some much-needed firepower to their squad this summer.
One man who could both score and assist goals for Graham Potter’s side is Neymar.
The Brazilian was linked with the west Londoners recently, but Christian Falk has put to bed those rumours:
“I was reading an article from Le Parisien and they were writing about a secret meeting over Neymar, which involved Todd Boehly and Chelsea and a potential deal to bring him to London,” the BILD reporter wrote.
“It’s too expensive. It’s a nice idea but it’s not going to happen. “PSG would like to find a solution but, at the moment, there’s no available suitor who can pay a salary of nearly €37m a year.”
