Revealed: The striker Manchester United staff want Erik ten Hag to sign

Manchester United’s technical staff are keen on the club signing one striker, in particular.

Manchester United’s technical staff are keen for Erik ten Hag to sign Eintracht Frankfurt and France striker Randal Kolo Muani this summer, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claim United’s technical staff are ‘keen’ on Kolo Muani. And while his valuation of £80m is ‘quite high’, Eintracht Frankfurt are willing to accept an initial payment of between £50m to £60m to let the 24-year-old leave.

Muani joined Frankfurt last summer and the striker has gone on to have a very impressive debut season in Germany.

He scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists in 46 outings across all competitions this past season.

In comparison, both Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst failed to get into double figures in the Premier League in 2022/23.

Weghorst has now returned to Burnley after his less-than-successful loan spell at Old Trafford. As for Martial, even if he remains at United this summer, it is clear he cannot lead the line for them on a regular basis.
