Chelsea’s plans to sign another striker after securing deal for Datro Fofana and Armando Broja’s injury have been revealed...

Chelsea have just lost Armando Broja for the rest of the season after he suffered a bad knee injury in their friendly against Aston Villa.

The Blues now have just one striker again in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaving them short in attack.

Earlier this week, the west London club looked to have secured a deal to sign the talented young forward Datro Fofana.

But according to reports this morning, Graham Potter’s side are not finished there…

Chelsea’s striker plans

Calcio Mercato report that Chelsea will look to sign another big striker in January.

Following the injury to Broja, the Blues’ attention has turned strongly to Rafael Leão.

The Italian champions will demand in excess of €80 million for the forward, something which does not phase Todd Bohley.

Chelsea are now preparing their budget and waiting for developments regarding a new contract for Leão.

Currently, some distance remains between Milan and the Portuguese forward, although they could soon make a new major offer.

However, Leão is not their only target, Chelsea are also looking at Dusan Vlahović, Tammy Abraham, João Félix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Cristiano Ronaldo.
